I was reading the Intimate Weddings blog today and I saw this post about some amazing wedding rings. I am so in want with these.  You put your fingerprint on his ring and he puts his on yours. That is such a sweet idea. I know if I was to get married all over again, I would want something just like this.

Valentine’s day is fast approaching! Because not everyone wants hugely overpriced roses on Valentine’s day, I thought today I would feature a few ideas that would make lovely gifts for your sweetheart. I would love any of these, hint, hint.

Brrrrr. It’s freezing here.(-21 C ) I’ve had enough of winter already! Because I am so cold today, I decided to look up scarves to help me feel a bit warmer. I came across the seller Fashionidea and all I can say is wow! These scarves are just gorgeous. I have crochet envy. These are not your normal everyday scarves. They are works of art. Enjoy!

Are you looking for a sweet way to thank your guests for attending your event? A candy buffet is a great idea! Not only will it look fantastic, it tastes sweet too! Recently I was in a store in London (Ontario) called Over Her Shoulder. It’s a whole store dedicated to one of my favourite things… Handbags! I could spend hours in there just looking at all of the different handbags. I saw some bags from Harveys and thought I would share. Very cool, handbags made from seatbelts. I’m sure they would last forever! If you are ever in London or Port Perry, be sure to stop in to Over Her Shoulder.

A while back my husband sent me a link to a post about some super cute vintage flasks on What Junebug Loves. I checked out the Anne Taintor site and fell in love with the vintage inspired items that were available.

If I were a bridesmaid I would be ecstatic to receive any one of these cool items.

The sayings on the items are so funny. For Christmas my husband and kids gave me the “I Love Not Camping” air freshener. I love it! I guess I wasn’t hiding my distaste of camping as well as I had thought.

Anyone who knows me knows that I heart cupcakes! I thought it would be a good start to Yummy Stuff Mondays to showcase some gorgeous cupcakes.

Melissa and Mike tied the knot on 06.07.08, at the Park Hyatt. From the looks of their photos, they had a beautiful wedding.

We created the black and white with a hint of red, favours for their wedding. Inside the cute Chinese food containers were 2 personalized fortune cookies. One was the traditional vanilla flavour and the other was chocolate. The fortune inside read, “Thank you for sharing our special day. Mike & Melissa 06.07.08″
