I can’t believe another year has come and gone. It has been a great year! I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped me out during the year. Thank you to Richard who is in charge of my site even if he would rather not be. Thanks to Aidan and Ronan who are now sharing a bedroom so Mummy could have a room for her “business”. One day when I get everything put in it’s place, I will take some pictures of my super pink and brown office. Thanks to Emma for taking awesome pictures of my favours. Thanks to my father in law Fred for helping us build really great fixtures that we will be using at all of our upcoming shows. And a big thanks to all of my customers this year. It has been a pleasure working with you.

We will be introducing lots of new things on our site in the next few months. We are working on new label designs, custom hang tags, chocolate bar wrappers, and baby shower items. Be sure to check back often to see what’s new.

We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. For everyone who got married this year we would like to say congratulations and we hope you enjoy your first holiday as a married couple.

I just wanted to give everyone lots of notice that Karensmallbone.com will be closed November 9-19. Richard and I are going on a much needed vacation to Cuba to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. We will still be accepting orders through the site during this time, but we will not be answering emails, sending proofs or shipping packages. If you think you will need something around that time, please contact us and we will do our best to answer your questions, or complete your order before we go.

I will be back in the office on Tuesday, November 19 and will answer any emails at that time.

Super cute kimonos are available in lots of patterns. Of course I love the pink and brown one. There are also matching pants available. If you were having an asian inspired theme at your wedding, it would be too cute to dress your flowergirl in one of these.

If you are expecting a new addition, or are in need of a lovely gift for someone who is, this kimono wrap would be great. I got something similar to this when I had Aidan and I just loved it. It was really easy to put on and open for diaper changes. Available in lots of different colour combinations but of course, I pick this one.

I came across these two videos that are very funny. I think that you would agree that this is how it feels sometimes when you mention that you are planning a wedding. The first video has some adult language, as my son would say “the S word”. I thought that they were both quite funny and that you might enjoy them.

I happened to find this site yesterday www.truebrideconfessions.com and I must say that I am addicted. I love the secret confessions of stressed out brides and bridesmaids.

There are also true mom confessions, true dad confessions and true office confessions. I don’t know about you but I always feel a bit better about my life after reading some of these things.

Check them out if you have a confession to make or if you just want to see what secrets everyone else has.

Thank you to everyone who wrote in and let me know about all the cool laptop bags that are available. I had a hard time choosing one because they were all so cool. I think I have decided to get the Trixy bag from Acme in Chocolate and Pink. They are out of stock right now so I am eagerly waiting to order one.

In an effort to provide you the best and quickest shipping possible at the best prices, we recently changed our shipping to Canpar. When your package is shipped you will receive an email that contains a tracking number. You can check to see where you package is and know when to expect delivery.

For our customers in the US, you can now track your shipment and expect delivery usually in just over a week. This is a huge improvement from our former shipping method which seemed to take forever to reach the US and had no way to track it.

I’m back in the office after a week of much needed relaxation. I had a great time in Dominican Republic despite the constant rain. I did get in 2 full days of sun so that was nice. It was my birthday while I was away and I returned home to a nice dinner, flowers and a brand new dishwasher. You know that you really are a domestic goddess when you get a dishwasher for your birthday and you are happy about it.
Thank you to Richard who looked after things while I was gone and also looked after the boys. I think he needs a vacation now after that.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be away from the office until April 2. I will be relaxing and getting inspiration on the beaches of Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic.

Richard will be checking my email and sending any custom label proofs. If you need anything urgent, he will get back to you. I will be answering email and custom quotes when I return.
